Healey says the state's shelter system was meant only for residents.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) appeared to backpedal on her previous position regarding sanctuary policies and immigration.

In two separate interviews with the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald this week, Healey claimed, "We're not a sanctuary state."

'Governor Healey's recent remarks are in stark contrast to comments she's made celebrating Massachusetts being a sanctuary state.'

While there is no set definition for sanctuary jurisdictions, several policies are usually associated with the term and are generally used to label a particular state or city as such. One such policy includes the refusal to cooperate with federal immigration officials.

Back in June I broke a story detailing the heinous crimes happening at a Marlborough, Mass Holiday Inn converted into an illegal immigrant flophouse by Gov Healey. I published details on everything from taxpayer funded Ubers  for illegals, to a man raping his underage daughter.🧵

Half a year later, bigger outlets, such as the @realDailyWire  finally picked up the story I broke. Now, The Maine Wire has access to all the serious criminal incident reports detailing a vast array of crimes at Healey's taxpayer funded migrant hotels.

While taxpayers were paying for food, shelter, medical bills, for the criminals in the hotels, they were also paying to keep them from murdering each other.  On January 2023, one shelter saw a domestic altercation between two women, with one accusing the other of drugging her. In this case, as with many others, including the sexual assault incidents against minors I discovered in the Marlborough shelter, the perpetrators were simply transferred to other taxpayer funded flophouses, rather than being arrested or deported. ...
