More than one-third of all animals on Earth, from beetles to cows to elephants, depend on plant-based diets. Plants are a low-calorie food source, so it can be challenging for animals to consume enough energy to meet their needs. Now climate change is reducing the nutritional value of some foods that plant eaters rely on.

Human activities are increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide levels and raising global temperatures. As a result, many plants are growing faster across ecosystems worldwide.

Very, in my opinion deliberately, faulty reasoning and conclusions. Plant growth and nutrition if driven by far more than CO2, including and especially the fertility of the soil.

This is what the AGW crowd does - grab onto one of many variables, then stretch it out to a questionable conclusion in order to advance the hype, then calling it 'science'.

Yes there are many variables to any living organism's growth and health, however the most common critical variable worldwide seems to be the scarcity of carbon dioxide.  This has been proven by the fact that recently increasing the atmospheric carbon dioxide level has increased tree foliage worldwide by an area equivalent to the size of Texas.  Greenhouses typically have highly elevated carbon dioxide levels which greatly enhances plant growth when obviously the growers always give optimal amounts of water and nutrients.
