Excerpt:
Steve Bannon set the stage on fire during a recent event with the New York Young Republican Club, proposing an unexpected twist: a 2028 run for Donald Trump. The crowd erupted into cheers as Bannon argued that Trump’s non-consecutive terms could open the door for a historic comeback.

Trump leading the charge again would be nothing short of epic.

Libs are going to have a meltdown...

No f'ing way.  Trump is finished January 20, 2029 period.  If he tries past then, then the dictatorial claims by the dims have merit.

Trump can be President Emeritus just as Nancy Pelosi is Dem Majority Leader / House Speaker Emeritus.

Once Trump makes it to Jan 20, 2027, the 22nd Amendment prohibits Trump from being President again.  Should he resign the day before and let Vance serve out the rest of his term, then he could run again.

Bannon is trolling.  Nothing more.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Oh FFS. Trump is done after this term. For one thing, he'll be old as shit.

Seems like "owning the libs" is the full time obsession of these guys, rather than good policy. Trump can do good policy when he wants to.

Interesting idea, but he'd be too old to actually serve out a term beginning in 2028.   Another possibility would be to build up Vance as the heir to his legacy, and resign sometime between Jan 20, 2027 and the end of his term so Vance would be the incumbent President and be able to run for two terms in his own right.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

go read the 22nd Amendment one more time.

It says nothing other than a President can be ELECTED only twice.

There are several ways to become President.  See President Gerald Ford who was never elected to be President.
