I freaking knew it…

Billionaire Marc Andreessen says he’s an Unpaid Volunteer for DOGE, and they won’t just be performing a Top-to-bottom review of Government Spending— They’re also going to do the same thing for REGULATIONS

Can you see Trumps plan clearly yet? It’s amazing!!!

DO YOU REALIZE that Donald Trump has been setting the stage for all of this to happen the last several years?

LOOK at what his SCOTUS picks have overturned or nullified in regards to Regulations? OMG! It’s really happening!

LOOK at the SCOTUS cases, and understand that His picks have DEMOLISHED the biggest bureaucratic and regulatory roadblocks there are…

DOGE will, under @elonmusk and @VivekGRamaswamy, thanks to DJT’s SCOTUS decisions will effectively pave the way for an economic revolution to happen!

Not quite, they haven't fully overturned the Chevron precedent, but it looks like the would if given the right case on which to do it.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

So, who's going to pay for the army of staff needed to go through the notice-and-review requirements of the APA in order to remove all of these supposed regulations DOGE is going to find wanting?

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.

At some point, we are. Hopefully, the long term savings and number of conflicting regulations removed will be beneficial far beyond the cost.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

In my view, everything currently contained in the CFR put there without explicit legislative input has already been found wanting by SCOTUS. Every one of them is already null and void.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Creating another bureacracy to reduce bureacracy is a self-defeating endeavor.  You just end up with another bureaucracy.

The US Office of Management and Budget (OMB (Executive)) and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO (Legislative)) should already be performing this work, or should pivot to doing that work when Trump is inaugurated.

To slay the beast, Government needs to be starved of headcount, budget allocations, and revenue.  Reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government requires it to be crushed and asphyxiated by an anaconda of fiscal discipline.
