Pure Gold: Van Jones Drops Truth Bomb About Trump That Is Going to Drive Dems Crazy
By Nick Arama | 10:04 AM on December 14, 2024

The cluelessness of the liberal media and the Democrats has been something to see since the election.

They're still trying to figure it out and wrap their minds around how President-elect Donald Trump won.

One of the few people who gets it is CNN's Van Jones. As we reported, he explained how Trump got the rise of new media and made use of that, that the legacy mainstream media was the "fringe" and the "fringe" was now the mainstream.

Former CNN commenter Chris Cillizza asked him about that. This truly explains how clueless Democrats are.

"How the hell did Donald Trump figure out that the mainstream media is the fringe and the fringe is now the mainstream...The 78 year old guy who doesn't even have a computer and still, like, writes handwritten notes? How did he become the guy who cracked the code?" Cillizza asked.

It is interesting to see how so many presidential elections in my lifetime were determined by the winning candidate's understanding of a shift in media. Kennedy in 1960 understood TV better than Nixon.  Reagan in 1980 became a master of the backdrop and the sound bite, which was the gold standard through Clinton and Bush. Then Obama came along in 2008 and took big advantage of internet analytics.  Now Trump has put together a disparate network of friendly media ranging from Fox News to Twitter to Truth Social to Joe Rogan.

Changes in media consumption are driven by young men, who are always the first to experiment with new forms of communication.  This is why young men are so important in elections. Not only do they account for votes, but they control the biggest and most important megaphones.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
We've all seen the slow parade of corporate media losses since the advent of the internet and outlets like Fox and Rush Limbaugh back in the day. It was only a matter of time before it reached critical mass.

The core problem with corporate media boils down to this:

Quote
"How the hell did Donald Trump figure out that the mainstream media is the fringe and the fringe is now the mainstream...The 78 year old guy who doesn't even have a computer and still, like, writes handwritten notes? How did he become the guy who cracked the code?" Cillizza asked.

This isn't any different than that little rich p***k kid in high school rubbing his new Porsche his daddy bought him in your face. Even the youngin's are getting tired of ever expanding tech intruding in our lives, not to mention all the COVID crap, inflation and general govt woke jackbootery.

All that has woken people up, grounded them a little, and made them question the line of bull corporate media has been feeding them. The last thing you want to hear is some elitist jackhole spouting their alternate reality when you can't put gas in your car.

And the media will never get that, and will never understand why Trump won, and that they are one of the things that people voted against.
