ICE raids Montgomery Country, Rockville MD Carwash

My eldest son's close friend manages a popular carwash on Rockville Pike.

Yesterday, two black SUVs pulled up and, like roaches when the light is turned on, FORTY employees ran for the hills.

He had to close, as he had nobody to man the lines.  Not even a cashier hung around.  AND, he's not even the POTUS yet!

This is a MAJOR sanctuary county, where you can go hours at any mall without seeing a Caucasian.

The local economy will certainly 'suffer'.

Maybe your eldest son's close friend's employer shouldn't have been breaking the law by hiring illegals.

I thought employers had to verify an employee's legal immigration status before hiring them.

Car washes must be the easiest of pickin's.

Same "response" by the employees no matter where the ICE guys arrive...

I certainly hd to fill out a ton of I-9’s when I was managing and faced hefty fines if I knowingly hired an illegal.

Seems every town has a place that makes documents for illegals to use to bypass the status... I am pretty dang sure one of them was located just blocks from where I live...

Gaithersburg, Shady Grove, and Rockville are overrun with illegal aliens and have been for a long time.  All ICE has to do is stake out the Home Depot and 7-11 there, and clean house rather easily.

I have had to fill out the form I-9, present my Real ID, etc, for every employer I have had since they started that stuff. I am rather obviously 'anglo'.
But where I have worked, everyone speaking the same language is a safety item.
I guess some do and some don't.

Home Depot, 7/11 and restaurants and bars.
