Will Cain: Trump leads Republicans to a win, first thing they do is start handing him losses
December 6, 2024 | Frieda Powers

Fox News’ Will Cain went scorched earth on Republicans for not backing President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet choices but instead “handing him losses.”

In social media posts and on-air commentary, the co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Fox News, ripped into GOP lawmakers who are getting in the way of the mandate Americans handed Trump on Election Day.

“How does @realDonaldTrump lead Republicans (who over the previous decade had found new and inventive ways to lose) to an overwhelming win,” Cain wrote in a post on X Thursday. “And the first thing they do is start denying his cabinet picks? They start handing him losses?”

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
