Pelosi Is Organizing A ‘Coup’ On Key House Committee

After playing a leading role in the effort to force President Biden, 82, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is reportedly aiming to replace another senior member of the Democratic Party as the leading party member on a key house committee.

Pelosi is reportedly leading an effort among House Democrats to replace longtime Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), 77,  as ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, according to a report from the New York Times. The longtime Democrat leader is keen on replacing Nadler with Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a far-left radical who sat on the January 6 Committee, which defied House rules when Pelosi refused to allow Republicans to appoint their own representatives, breaking decades of House precedent.

Raskin has also played a key role in the distribution of numerous hoaxes, including the bogus Russian collusion investigation, and most recently suggested that he will be attempting to subvert the 2024 Election results by refusing to certify Trump’s victory. The Maryland Democrat — who has repeatedly labeled Trump and his supporters as “traitors” and “insurrectionists” over a mass trespassing event four years ago — has cited a Civil War era statute in claiming that Trump is ineligible to be president.

“They want to kick it to Congress. So it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said during a panel discussion this past summer. “Then we need bodyguards.”

Pelosi's problem with Nadler is that he is less willing to break the law.
Whereas Raskin doesn't give a shit about 'law'. Raskin is all about "getting Trump by any means necessary". Just like Pelosi.

This is an allusion to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment:

Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

The State of Colorado tried to use this to exclude Trump from their primary ballot and got slapped down by the US Supreme Court. If Raskin tries this dodge his chances of success are approximately zero.

Nancy Pelosi ... taking "democratic" out of the Democratic Party.

I thought Hakkeem Jeffries was Dem leader in House since Nancy Pelosi stepped down to become Speaker Emerita.  I guess he was just window dressing.

Watch out, House Dems.  If Nancy can replace Biden and Nadler, she could replace you.

Nance has succumbed to rabid Trump Derangement Syndrome.  Her henchmen, Schiff and Raskin, will be loaded for bear to attack Trump and his administration.

It would be a shame if their committees only held session when Schiff and Raskin were out of DC on Dem fund raisers.  They'd have to choose between doing their jobs or soliciting another $1Billion for the DNC to piss away.

I say put Dems on the shelf for the next two years, and see what Trump can accomplish when he's not being sabotaged by Pelosi, Raskin, and Schiff.  Trump, MAGA, and GOP will own those two years, so they better produce results quickly.

Show Nancy and the Dems all the "bipartisanship" she demonstrated when she was Speaker.
