Mexican Illegal Arrested for Torching Mobile Home, Killing Two People in Phoenix

An illegal alien from Mexico is facing manslaughter charges after authorities say he set fire to a mobile home in Arizona while high on drugs, killing two people inside.

The horrifying incident unfolded just before 10 a.m. on Sunday in Phoenix.

Authorities responded to a house fire on the north side of the capital city and after extinguishing the blaze, firefighters found two bodies inside.


“Detectives worked relentlessly in investigating this incident. After processing the scene and conducting multiple interviews, investigators identify, locate and apprehend the suspect, 22-year-old Joel Hernandez Anaya. Joel was transported to Phoenix Police Headquarters where he was interviewed by investigators,” the Phoenix Police Department explained in a press release.

So, in Arizona now the seriousness of a crime is mitigated if you are high on drugs?  Would an American have charges reduced for being high on drugs? :shrug:

Are they going to prosecute, convict, sentence, and incarcerate this person for the full duration of their sentence?  Or are they going to take the lazy way out and deport this person now so that they can sneak right back into the country four weeks from now and commit more crimes?
