Not to pick at nits but the bottom fell out of the car market period and while EV’s were hard hit , marks like Dodge and Jeep have seen such poor sales that dealers still have a ton of 2023’s to still unload along with the 24’s while the 25’s are rolling in competing with all the repos.

Yes the shine is off the EV’s as people are hit with all the costs and inconveniences like lower mileage and instant barbecue mode that were hidden. I live in an apartment and the guy next door bought a Tesla, this morning I saw he had a charging cord running from his gate to the car. LMAO 😂 Our units are 60 years old and have a 50 amp service so I guess he is charging enough to get it to the Tesla super chargers at the mall a couple miles away. Nope I wouldn’t take an EV even if it was free, Call me old fashioned but I prefer the ability to fuel and go at a moments notice, and I can always carry extra fuel, try that with an EV.

Yea I know, and all run with gas or diesel, but they are going to save the planet with these electric cars(you know).

Lisa Brankin, Ford UK’s chair and managing director, told the BBC that without induced demand, a government mandate to produce and sell more EVs “just doesn’t work” and consumers must be forced to bend to government edicts.

Yep, I think that is satire. Did you notice that the generator is almost larger then the car and the diesel smoke coming from the generator is polluting the air all because it is an electric car, I think that it is very relevant and fitting?

Yeah, if you electrify everything while reducing peak generation capacity by closing nuclear, coal, LNG, and hydro-electric power plants, EV's become less economically sustainable as electricity prices increase and limited supply is rationed.

Dingbats, economics matter.

1.) EV's are not economical.
2.) The Chi-com's will do everything to corner EV and Battery market

Chi-com strategy is to integrate itself in Global Supply Chains and infrastructure development projects to use it as leverage to spread Communist influence globally.

Remember, the objective of Communism is to conquer the world by any means necessary - including unfair trade practices and indebting their trade partners to Chi-com finance.

Ninety-three mail trucks for $3B: And you thought those electric vehicle charging stations were bad... A blatant example of government waste comes courtesy of the U.S. Postal Service under Joe Biden. Thanks to Biden's foolish green dream, the USPS has spent over $3 billion on developing and producing its Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDVs), with the majority planned to be electric. This comes from Biden's falsely named Inflation Reduction Act, which allocated almost $10 billion to develop and produce these NGDVs. Defense contractor Oshkosh won the contract. However, as of November, the USPS has only received 93 NGDVs, well below the expected 3,000 at this time. The reason for the manufacturing delay is a story of too many cooks in the kitchen. The attempt to make these NGDVs check off the numerous boxes, including making them "green," has resulted in a confusing mess of a vehicle. As one exasperated individual involved in production explained, "This is the bottom line: We don't know how to make a d*mn truck." This sounds like a perfect conundrum for Elon Musk's DOGE to solve.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Simply stated, the EV industry is dead.  Yes, we will continue to have EVs into the future, but they are definitely NOT the future.

When the day comes the feds end the federal subsidy for purchasing EVs, the market will drop 60-90%.  Yes, some people will still buy EVs because they have the money, and they believe they are doing something for the environment.  But they are not competitive, and the cost without the subsidy nearly $20,000 more than combustion engines or hybrids is prohibitive.

Something else will come along, and in fact, other forms of propulsion are in the process of being developed for the market that EVs will be completely gone in 10 years.

And there is no secondary market for EVs, because most are leased, and when the lease ends, the majority are gathered up by the manufacturers and shipped to another country and sold like new cars.

Take a good look at used cars lots.  Usually, you might see 1 or 2 EVs.  That is it, and it will not change, except perhaps in California.  But CA will need to change their plans because manufacturers will discontinue making EVs in the not too distant future.
