Trump May Kick Establishment Media Out of White House Briefing Room, Make Seats for New Media

President-elect Donald Trump is considering rearranging White House press briefings in a move that could leave establishment media outlets out to dry.

Instead of hostile legacy media outlets, Trump could seat new media hosts such as Megyn Kelly or Joe Rogan.

Donald Trump Jr. revealed the plan Monday on his podcast, Triggered with Donald Trump Jr., with Michael Knowles.

Knowles inquired if “Karoline Leavitt is looking at the new press briefing room chart, [if] maybe it’s time to reorder that chart and maybe take away some people’s seats.”

Trump Jr. responded, “We’re gonna break some news here,” continuing, “I literally had this conversation with — I was flying back, I was on the plane with my father, I think it was coming back from the SpaceX launch with Elon [Musk] last week. And we were talking about the podcast world and some of our friends and Rogan and guys like you.”

He revealed his father responded, “That’s a great idea, Don.”

“So that may be something in the works,” Trump Jr. added.

He should.  The Press Room seats should be filled with journalists and reporters from smaller media outlets from every state.

It's time someone asked a question from Nebraskans to the White House Press Secretary.

My nominee for Massachusetts is the Nantucket Current, the Lowell Sun, the Patriot Ledger, or Worcester Telegram and Gazette.  Screw the Boston Globe.

Freeze out MSM.  They aren't practicing real journalism.

Well, it sure might make for a more informative press briefing.

If the current crop is maintained, it will revert back to Trump's prior term. Although Sarah did an excellent job, it was pretty cut throat.

I wonder what will be done with the foreign reporters?

How about filling the seats with folks that report the news, with no bias.  Jettison all those that simply spin everything they have to say, with truth not even dipping its toe in the water.  Tired of that bullsh*t!!!  All the usual suspects would be on the outside looking in.  Screw them all.

There is no constitutional requirement for the President to let anyone that pleases in the press room.
