If Harris couldn’t win, maybe Democrats should have nominated someone else

The leaders of Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign are starting to acknowledge that the fundamentals of the 2024 race for the White House favored President-elect Donald Trump all along.

Joy and hope were no match for dissatisfaction with the economy, the direction of the country, and incumbent parties across the globe, dooming the Democrats earlier this month and paving the way for Trump’s return to the Oval Office.

“The headwinds were just too great for us to overcome, especially in 107 days,” Harris campaign Chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon told the Washington Post in a representative postmortem. “But we came very close to what we anticipated, both in terms of turnout and in terms of support.”

What they were unable to do, however, was win a single battleground state or the popular vote even after replacing President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee.

For the Ds to have had a good chance of winning they should have started boosting potential candidates in 2022, arm-twisted Joe in summer 2023 into dropping out, and actually had an honest - = no hand-picked winner - primary. That was more self-awareness and honesty than Biden's Dem Party had.

Time was not in her favor regardless of what these fools say. The more time in front of people the worse it got. She's a feckless moron and the Hollywood facade was deteriorating each day.

Dems would need to find someone outside DC Dem establishment not from California nor Massachusetts.

Dems couldn't pick a swamp resident because they are too leftist and too radical for the deplorable Nazi floating islands of garbage to vote for.

Dems would need to find a Governor who would be unnacceptable to Progressives.  Even then, such a candidate would lose the Dem Primary.

The Dems tossed Biden and in doing so, flushed the whole process of candidate selection.  It could not have been less democratic if they tried.  Right out of the soviet book for how to run a central committee.

Fact is, Harris is done on the national stage.  Every person in this nation knows exactly how dumb she is.  She is the Peter Principle on steroids, with a Musk booster rocket strapped to her posterior!  At best, she decides to run for governor of the dying state of California.  She will hasten the flight from CA, further depleting the number of people in Congress representing these dumb clucks.

Democrats did nominate someone else - Joe Biden.  The party elites were the ones who picked Kamala.
