Trump’s electoral victory has advanced the demise of MSNBC and CNN for good reason.

The fall of NBC, ABC and CBS should follow.

Each of these so-called news outlets have betrayed their viewers for as long as they have been on the air.  They consistently misled their viewers day after day to the point that Trump’s victory was a major shock to their systems.

The title goes farther than I would. A serious direct blow to the MSM? Obviously. "The end"? It'll take another 5 or 10 years to see what the consequences were. The MSM has been suffering from the proverbial thousand cuts, many self-inflicted, but dead? Time will tell.

MSNBC is unwatchable.  It's like I've walked on to U Cal Berkeley campus.  They keep blaming deplorables' racism and mysogyny for their losses.  They just can't comprehend that their $!t can stink, too.  They are aloof, detatched, delusional, unhinged, radical, out-of-touch elitists.

Certainly Trump has brought to light that the MSM cannot be trusted and journalism isn't what it used to be and right now there's quite an upheaval in the industry but as for as the end of leftists' control I think remains to be seen.

Certainly Soros and his sons have paid journalists to 'slant' stories, and I don't see that stopping; it's just that with Elon in the mix the scales are a bit more even.

Perhaps eventually will see a return to good old fashioned reporting.

It isn't the end of mainstream media (someone will always step up to sell soap).

What has ended is the one-sided control of the narrative.

With access to information and opinions not available on ABCNNBCBS, Americans can dig up info and make up their own minds.

Why else would Google seek to control what is seen?

Wishful thinking.  Just like the end of MSM is neigh.  That is not the case either.  As long as there are folks like Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, George Soros and a dozen other billionaires, the media and what they say will be manufactured and controlled.  And liberal. 

For every step forward, there will be two steps back.  Yes, Elon Mush has opened Twitter, now X to free speech and made it more an open platform, but while that was happening, Fox News took a step backwards with the liberal son of Rupert Murdoch taking the helm.  And everyone can see just how it has transitioned since his arrival.  I hardly watch it any longer.  Guttfeld is the only show I try to watch daily.  Used to be, I watched from 5PM to midnight if I was in front of a TV.  No longer.

At the primary paper I once was head of systems, a paper that for 200+ years was conservative with its editorial positions, it is now run by the daughter of the owner, who is lesbian, and turned the once conservative paper into a liberal rag that no one wants to read any longer.  Imagine flushing a legacy of conservative journalism for the modern day nonsense that comes with the alphabet soup nonsense.  People are sick of it and turning away.  FINALLY!
