Democrat Denver Mayor Vows Mass Resistance, Police Blockades Against Trump’s Migration Mandate

Denver’s Democrat Mayor is promising to use the city’s police and to organize private citizen demonstrators to block the enforcement of federal immigration laws in his city.

“More than us having [Denver police] stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Mayor Mike Johnston said.

“It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment,” he exclaimed, comparing Trump’s enforcement promise to  China’s government’s 1989 massacre of Chinese democracy advocates.

Apparently fashioning himself as some sort of modern-day John C. Calhoun, Johnston says that he will press the city police department and “community volunteers” into his own little confederate army to take up the fight against ICE officials.

Johnston insisted that he is not going to give up his sanctuary city policies and won’t be “bullied” by the incoming Trump administration.

“We’re not going to sell out those values to anyone,” Johnston told the Denverite, according to Fox News. “We’re not going to be bullied into changing them.”

Then he issued a stern warning.

“More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there. It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun,” he reportedly said. “You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. You don’t want to mess with them.”

That pr*ck mayor is pure woke, with a background as an educator and community activist out of Harvard and Yale.

His personal prideful accomplishments on his resume is that 1. he was able to enforce 2 million vaccinations on the people of Colorado and 2. legislature approval of paying for illegals to attend state colleges.  Johnston remarked. "For me personally, there's no more significant bill that I've worked on that's going to make an actual impact on human beings."

Meanwhile, an illegal alien was arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl in Denver.

20-year-old Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo was arrested and charged for raping a minor teen girl in Denver as Mayor Johnston declared war on Trump’s plan to deport aliens like Castillo.

“Castillo is believed to have illegally entered the United States by way of El Paso, Texas, under the Biden-Harris administration in September 2023,” The Daily Wire reported.

Mike Johnston, the Democrat mayor of Denver, has stated that he will urge citizens to oppose the mass deportations of migrants that President-elect Donald Trump has planned in Colorado. This comes as local authorities in “sanctuary cities” have started organising how to handle the issue.
 

Speaking to Denver's station 9, Johnston, 50, stated that he is prepared to serve time in prison in order to halt any attempts at deportation.

Calling it a “Tiananmen Square moment,” the mayor of Denver has pledged to use local police and 50,000 citizens “stationed at the county line” to protect migrants residing in his sanctuary city from Trump's mass deportation.

Congress can always grow a set of b@ll$, and use the power of the purse to punish municipalities and states that don't play ball - withhold funds, give funds to other states, move Federal jobs, close Federal installations, etc.
