It's not worth it for private companies to risk making long-term infrastrucure investments in America. Too many delays, too many court battles, and too much Government obstruction.
Energy companies will get more timely return on capital investing elsewhere, like Guyana and Namibia.
That is a ridiculous statement as you do not know what you are talking about.
There are many companies in pipeline, refining, production onshore and offshore who are continuously engaged in new infrastructure projects. These are many billions of dollars being spent each and every year.
Most energy projects are impacted by environmental issues.
To send projects to Guyana or Namibia will most certainly make the environment worse, not better, as the US demands a much more stringent environmental
standard than those countries.
There are indeed states like California and New York/New England that will not even consider them from being built.
But most states know the value of keeping their citizens supplied with fuel and energy.
Shut down energy infrastructure projects, and we will indeed return to the stone age.
