According to Comer, the contractor suggested that FEMA supervisors regard Trump supporters as “domestic terrorists.”The revelation came via a whistleblower who contacted Comer’s staff, alleging the incident occurred in early October. The elderly homeowners reportedly complied, fearing it might jeopardize their ability to receive disaster relief aid. However, despite removing the signs, FEMA has not returned to assist the family, Comer said.“The elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid that they would not recover their loss that they removed the signs,” Comer wrote on X. “Nevertheless, FEMA has not returned to their residence.
