Jen Psaki claims there is no evidence that transgender athletes pose a threat to girls’ sports

Transgender athletes are not a “threat to safety or fairness,” according to MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

She made the comments on her show Sunday in the context of criticism that Democrats were too extreme on transgender issues, which contributed to their loss on election night.

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), for example, came out against boys competing against girls after the election, but he has continued to receive backlash from his own party. Psaki specifically criticized Moulton during her segment on Sunday.

She referenced ads that “created the perception” of widespread domination by boys in girls’ sports.

“Look, reflection is good, but if that were actually an issue at thousands of schools across the country, it would be worthy of a debate,” she said. “But there are just incredibly few examples of transgender girls playing in youth sports. And when we see those examples, there isn’t evidence that these kids are a threat to safety or fairness.”

But male athletes competing against females is both a threat to safety and fairness. Consider high school volleyball player Payton McNabb, who suffers from paralysis after a male opponent spiked the ball into her head. Transgender basketball players have also led to injuries in high school games, including in Vermont and Massachusetts.

Trannies in girls sports is wrong. Stop with the liberal tears and BS inclusion talk.  Anyone wonder why MSnbc is shedding viewers like a dog's fur with mange.

On September 1, 2022, during a volleyball game against a rival North Carolina high school, 17-year-old Payton McNabb received a devastating head and neck injury as the result of a spike by a male athlete who identified as transgender. McNabb, a three-sport athlete who had plans to attend college on a softball scholarship, had no idea that would be her last day playing volleyball ever, and the end of her athletic career as she knew it. ...

One of the male player’s powerful spikes ended up knocking McNabb unconscious for more than 30 seconds toward the end of the game. While McNabb was lying on the floor, she was later told by onlookers that her body had twisted into a “fencing position,” which is indicative of extreme trauma to the brain.

“My coach’s wife kept trying to push my arms and legs down, but they kept coming back up. She had no idea what was happening,” McNabb said. Meanwhile, “the boy who hit me and the girls on his team were standing on the other side of the net laughing at me,” she said.

According to McNabb, few people took her injury seriously at first. Her trainer even told her to get back in the game right after the injury happened.

However, a later medical evaluation revealed that the ball’s impact caused neurological impairments, including a concussion, vision problems, and partial paralysis to the right side of her body. The year following her traumatic brain injury, was full of “blank spaces” that she’ll never remember, McNabb said. ...

There's no evidence that flying kamikaze cannibal penguins pose a threat to airplanes, either.
