House Democrats Pin Election Losses on Hakeem Jeffries, Suggesting Defeat 'Would Never Have Happened' Under Pelosi

Democratic lawmakers in the House are blaming Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.) for their party’s steep election losses, suggesting the defeat "would never have happened" under former House speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), Axios reported.

"I have a feeling people would say this would never have happened under" Pelosi, a House progressive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Axios. The lawmaker added that some of their colleagues blamed Jeffries for not forcing President Joe Biden to end his reelection bid sooner.

"It's sad that Pelosi still has to do this work," the progressive said, acknowledging that the former speaker played a significant role in pushing Biden out of the race. Pelosi herself blamed the octogenarian president for not leaving the race sooner.

Different under the Mad Queen of Hearts, wasn’t she the actual architect of the democrats disaster, the one who not only took credit but boasted about putting the knife in Joe’s back? Oh wait, that was before The Cackler  and Tampon Tim were resoundingly defeated and crushing the dems chances to take the house and keep the senate. Now she needs to save face and ego and put the blame on Jeffries, personally I think they are both despicable  and I have no problem with both being taken down.

I think the debacle that has been the Biden administration should get at least 60% of the credit for Dem losses. Who cares about Hakeen Jeffries, anyway?

I don't have any love for Jeffries but I don't see that he could have saved this nightmare for the Dems. All the Dems had already stated their policies.

I'm waiting for the Dems to come out with a book..."Why We Lost". Never mind, I think Hillary already used that title.
