A Democratic strategist argued President-elect Trump’s decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election was a "Marie Antoinette" moment for his party and showed just how "out of touch" Democrats have become with working-class voters.

Julian Epstein, the former chief counsel to Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, told "The Brian Kilmeade Show" Monday that working-class voters were uniting across racial lines to "reject not just the Democratic Party, but the entire professional elite."

"It was the Democrats, it was billions of dollars, it was the mainstream news media, it was Hollywood, it was Wall Street and Silicon Valley, it was the universities. It was sort of every mainstream professional elite that had become the left," Epstein said.
 
He added that one of the biggest examples of how "out of touch" Democrats had become was the electric vehicle (EV) mandate and its impact on the auto industry and working-class Americans’ jobs.

The usual hazard to a coalition of special interests is the other party being able to pit one special interest against another. This time it was the Dems who splintered their own coalition by favoring one group while ignoring or even fighting against another group.

Even in losing, they still won't listen.

The have convinced themselves they lost because Neanderthal trudite unwashed racist mysogynist homophobic transphobic xenophobic deplorable Nazi floating island of garbage masses were too intellectually impaired to see the righteousness of their nonsense.

In their minds, we are the problem and they are without fault.  You can't fix that.  You just need to keep beating it with a sock full of nickels until it dies.

The Democommies have not represented the common man for a long time.  Why certain demographics continue to vote with large majorities for the Democommies makes no sense.  Best explanation is pure ignorance to history.  These people do not pay attention to what is going on.  They do not read newspapers and many sources for news, they listen to one source, that feeds them propaganda 24/7.

Thing is they don't really have a coalition of common interests, they scare people with fabricated bogeyman oppressors guilty of 'isms' to keep them in line.

Then they want too far on the limb and everyone saw behind the curtain, to mix my metaphors.
