UFC Legend Gives Trump His Championship Belt, Hits ‘YMCA’ Dance After Dominant Win

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who is widely considered to be one of the best mixed martial artists of all time, hit president-elect Trump’s signature “YMCA” dance before presenting him with his championship belt after defending his title at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

Jones faced off against fellow UFC legend Stipe Miocic in what was the first bout for either fighter in nearly two years. After largely dominating the fight on the feet and on the ground, Jones landed a spinning back-kick that landed flush on Miocic’s ribs, effectively ending the fight.

After the fight was officially called, Jones hit the president-elect’s signature “YMCA” dance before pointing in Trump’s direction, who was sitting Octagon-side alongside X owner Elon Musk.

The “Trump Dance” appears to be exploding across the NFL. It started with the 49ers’ Nick Boas last week, who celebrated sacking the Dolphins quarterback by performing a little Donald Trump dance. But now, players on three other teams have joined the dance craze.

First up was Bosa, who performed his take on Trump’s hilarious little double-fisted low pump after he sacked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield in the 49ers win.

NFL reveals its stance on players doing the Donald Trump dance as the craze sweeps sports

The NFL has 'no issue' with players performing the Donald Trump dance while celebrating on the field, it has emerged.

Brock Bowers, Calvin Ridley and Nick Bosa are among the stars to imitate the president-elect in recent weeks but the NFL has no plans to crack down on the craze.

An NFL spokesperson told Front Office Sports: 'There’s no issue with a celebratory dance such as what took place yesterday or the previous week with the 49ers... it’s up to the networks to cover them as they see fit.'

Disrespect for the national anthem was okay with the league. Objecting to a little dance would be beyond pathetic.
