Claim:

A map with red and blue coloring accurately shows individual county results in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

Mostly True (About this rating?)

Context:

As of this writing on Nov. 8, 2024, officials had not yet projected the outcome of some counties. In those cases, the red or blue color represented the leading candidate. Further, we noted at least three possible mistakes — a small number of discrepancies out of more than 3,100 counties. Also, Alaska and Hawaii were omitted from the map.
