While I knew a couple of guys that grew a pair back in college; we took 'em caving, which rattled them, and we'd figured we'd seen the last of them after they thanked us for taking them along, with that 'but I'll never do that again' air about them. But in a week they called and said "When are we going again?", enthusiastic as all get-out. We took 'em.

For most, though, there is no similar epiphany.

I've gotten to the point that I respect those who have refrained from tats far more than those who succumbed to the trend. In all honesty, I wouldn't feel as strongly if tats had a shelf life of a year or two, but that people do this permanently to themselves is sickening to see. I was going by the Texas website and the number from the Texas board of elections and did not delve into the write in candidates as much as you did. 

I always fess up when I am wrong or make a mistake. You were right in your calculations.

Some are discreet, tasteful, and tolerable.That's rare.  There's a lot of graffiti out there, and I can't say I find more ink than there is in my library to be attractive.
