The Back-Stabbing Between Harris and Biden Begins, and Things Are Getting Very Spicy
Bonchie

With Donald Trump's landslide victory in the rear-view mirror, the recriminations among Democrats have begun. That's the great thing about the transition period. It's uniquely enjoyable in that the victors aren't in power yet and thus can't be blamed for anything, but the losers fight it out over who was at fault. Grab your popcorn because things are going to get spicy.

Before we get to the quotes, though, it's important to lay out the battle lines. To do that, you only have to understand one thing: The Joe Biden camp has always hated the Kamala Harris camp. From the beginning of the now-outgoing administration, the long knives have been out. For example, I wrote the following piece back in 2021.

I enjoyed that. The entertainment from the Biden and Harris camps will continue, I think.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
And I feel it's going to continue for a long long time. What they don't see is the big picture that all their big hitter notaries are now has beens with no credibility. Worse, they're old, in the minority,  and completely out of touch, still living decades ago in the heyday 60's, with 4 generations behind them that share little to nothing of their world view and experiences.

In short terms there is now a power vacuum, where the old order is done and nothing new has rose up. They're going to try and regurgitate the same thing again, but the problem is they are so ideologically focused that the average voter just trying to survive has nothing to give their support to, and they are left with their little elitist, grifter, true believer, and grievance groups.

Unless someone can come forth and truly lead them, I see nothing but chaos in their future, because their most militant wing will never allow them to move to any common sense platform.
The Republic is lost.

A former Biden staffer dismissed the Harris team's criticisms as making excuses for the vice president's failures: "How did you spend $1 billion and not win? What the f***?"
