What Trump has promised to do on day one in the White House

President-elect Donald Trump has been reelected as the 47th president of the United States, marking a historic return to the White House just four years after he left. Throughout his campaign, Trump has made countless promises and touted numerous retributions for his first day in office, and while some are achievable, others might not be.

Here’s what he said he would upon returning to the White House.

End war in Ukraine

During the second presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump claimed he’d end the war in Ukraine before beginning his presidency.

“I will get it settled before I even become president. When I win, when I’m president-elect, and what I’ll do is I’ll speak to one, I’ll speak to the other, I’ll get them together. That war would’ve never happened,” Trump said, implying he could get Ukraine to enter an uneasy truce with Russia.

The election came at a time of intensity for the war as Russia has been steadily making gains in the eastern Donbas region. North Korean troops have also been confirmed to be bolstering Russia’s manpower and have already begun fighting Ukrainian forces.

If Trump tells Putin we'll fully arm Ukraine with first line weapons if you don't get out, it might work. The big question is how much of Ukraine will Trump demand Ukraine give up?

Musk gave 130 million to Trump. Aint happening.    Trump even said recently ev's are fine cars.

Last fall, for example, Trump told an audience that people who own electric cars become “somewhat schizophrenic“ because they can only drive their cars for 10 minutes. Around the same time, he insisted that gas-powered cars are better for the environment than EVs. (They’re not.) In December, the GOP candidate added that electric vehicles don’t “go far” and have to be recharged “every two minutes.”

As recently as June, a Washington Post report noted that the Republican nominee “has made bashing EVs a cornerstone of his campaign.”

2 weeks ago:

At an event in Michigan two weeks ago, for example, the Republican said, “I’m constantly talking about electric vehicles but I don’t mean I’m against them. I’m totally for them.” He added that he’s driven EVs “and they are incredible.”Saturday night in Atlanta, Trump went even further, and said the quiet part loud. “I’m for electric cars,” the former president said in a matter-of-fact sort of way. “I have to be, you know, because [Tesla’s Elon Musk] endorsed me very strongly. So, I have no choice.”

I’m reminded anew of a recent Politico report with a memorable headline: “Trump keeps flip-flopping his policy positions after meeting with rich people.”


Just like Trumo was  against TT until he found out his largest donor Feffrey Yass owned a 1/4 of TT stock so now Trump is for TT.

Rescinding Obama's and Biden's Executive Orders is a quick win with great rewards.  No pesky Congressional RINO's need to be involved.

Perhaps he was speaking with some metaphor but I think he will make Ukraine a priority very early.

No, I have read his post and watched videos of him saying it . Trump said he could end it in 24 hours. He was very clear about it.

He will never do a mass deportation except  for the real murders, robbers and rapist.  The ag industry, construction, hospitality/restaurant industries said it would destroy their industries if he did as they cannot find enough Americans to do those jobs now. He might do a token amount then quit.

 IIRC, he/she lives near one of the big ass blue cities in Penn.  He's just butthurt Kamalia Rottencrotch got her ass kicked and he/she can't gloat.

I posted my argument up above. Until Musk started bankrolling Trump, Trump was anti ev. He bashed EV's at every rally. Since Musk gave him 130 million,  Trump calls them fine cars and never mentions ev's at his  rallys since.

Cannot get more clear than that.
