A non-profit government oversight and research organization recently reported that a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official has been promoting illegal immigration through social media.
According to the detailed report from the American Accountability Foundation, Wilson Osorio, an associate counsel with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), has been utilizing social media to communicate with potential border crossers.
"Osorio uses his TikTok, YouTube and Instagram channels to post video content, mostly of conversations with illegal immigrants, where he asks the individuals to tell those watching how much money they make, how they came to the United States, and how wonderful it is to illegally enter and settle in the United States," the report indicated.
