Kamala Harris Can Still Become First Female President — If Biden Resigns

Vice President Kamala Harris can still become the first female President of the United States of America — but only if President Joe Biden resigns.

Harris lost decisively to former President Donald Trump — now president-elect Trump — on Tuesday, dashing hopes that a woman would finally break through the “glass ceiling” and reach the Oval Office. But she still can — if Biden follows through on a promise to be a “transitional” candidate, and steps aside for Harris.

If he does not, Biden will have consigned Harris to the ignominious task of presiding over the Senate during the certification of Donald Trump’s victory over her on January 6. And American women may wait years for another chance.

If they (Pelosi and Obozo) had not forced him out, IO really thought he would do that. It would make her seem "more Presidential, if she was already in the job.

From the article: "If he does not, there is also the more remote prospect of removing Biden for incapacity under the 25th Amendment, but that would require Harris openly defying him, with the consent of the majority of the Cabinet."

I see this as a very real possibility. It would really tick of Dr. Jill. No love lost between them.

It wouldn't matter.  Biden's White House staff and Kamala's campaign staff are busy looking for new outside employment opportunities.  Dead-men-walking aren't going to hang around until January 20th.

I thought Nancy Pelosi was running the show?  She's the one who hand-picked Kamala to replace Biden atop the ticket.  She's the one who shoved Biden's agenda through Congress with a narrow majority during Budget Reconciliation.  She's the one who shoved Obama's agenda through Congress with a narrow majority during Budget Reconciliation.

During Pelosi's tenures as House Speaker, there was no real Congressional legislation; just "non-existent frameworks" rammed through during Budget Reconciliation.
