No confirmation on Al Jazeera:

If anything, Iran is re-arming and re-tooling its proxies for one last big offensive before Trump gets sworn in on January 20th.

We have proof Iran was trying to assassinate Trump.  That didn't work out so well last time for a ME country.  Iraq/GHWB
