Was just thinking about 2008 election. It was a weird time. I wasn't really even a conservative then, voted for the libertarian in 2008. But I lived in Allston, Boston, and people were very pumped up about the election at the time. Same energy today. Never seen so many people with grey hair so amped to vote, heh.

Was just thinking about 2008 election. It was a weird time. I wasn't really even a conservative then, voted for the libertarian in 2008. I was the 3rd Republican in the history of my county. (1975).  Can proudly say I have NEVER voted for a democrat. And never will.

My county (Hillsborough) is one of the two most populous counties in the state.

It has traditionally been "red", but it's now rather purple owing to the influx of people from Massachusetts during the past 30 years or so.

Hell, we came here from Massachusetts as well, but we considered ourselves "refugees" at the time.

Keep an eye on the betting markets.  Election day is wrought with insiders who have access to internal polling and exit interviews. 

At this moment.....  RCP composite is 59.7% Trump 38.9% Harris.

Not sure what the remaining 1.4% thinks will happen.

Forgot to mention that Iowa put a referendum on the ballot that only citizens could vote in elections, which I happily voted for.

It looks like the FL dems are headed for another wipeout.  R+10 on the early vote, and R+22 on election day thus far.
