Election Officials Make Surprise Move After Viral Video Claims Trump Vote Went to Harris

In an unexpected twist, officials in Laurel County, Kentucky, pulled a ballot-marking machine from service on Thursday, the first day of early voting, following a viral TikTok video. The clip claims a voter’s selection for Donald Trump was allegedly recorded as a vote for Kamala Harris.




It's not a glitch, it's a feature.

There's nothing in the statement that says that in spite of all the correct info being given to the voter, the machine still doesn't register the vote in favor of Harris. You would need a recount to discover that

The headline is misleading.

It's written off as a defective machine, but, this is why we need to stick with paper ballots.

Once is one time too many.

The video shows a woman unable to select former president Donald Trump as her pick in the 2024 presidential race. The woman keeps tapping on the screen and it then selects Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris. ...

One "glitch" is one too many. Immediately remove the machine from service.
