Did the hat specifically endorse a candidate?
Or did it just say "Make America Great Again"?

Would "FJB" get the same reaction?
"Let's go Brandon"?

I'm going to go vote and troll with a Nixon Agnew button on my hat. Neither is alive, it's a piece of history, not a bit of electioneering. If they aren't alive, aren't running, and aren't on the ballot, does it count (even from 1968)?

It is disrespectful.  First time I saw those foul flags was just over the border in PA.

I hate foul language in public.  That is very, very public.  Sick of the discourse that Republicans have resorted to, taking Democrat discourse and making it normal.  If a child shouldn’t witness it, it should not be there.  Full sized flags with this fightin’-word foulness have no place.  Most places have obscenity laws for a reason.

Witness homo parades.  That is disgusting and should not exist.  Yet, we have bowed to that approach and are going foul just as much as the endlessly disgusting Democrats.

“What a bastardly bunch we are.” - Thomas McKean, 1776.

Anyway, that’s my soapbox.

As far as this woman, yes, I don’t think she should be trying to take stuff off the truck.  And why is the guy just filming?  Why not get in there and just hold onto the staff?

I have some Nixon stuff around.  Found it in various places clearing out Mom’s estate.  I could find those pins and wear them.  Good question!

I think I have an I LIKE IKE pin here somewhere. Finding it would be the challenge.

Frankly, I was not impressed with the Matt Walsh video.  Clearly the individuals in the clips he ran need psychiatric help.

The woman fearful she would awaken a slave, perhaps her fear was instigated by the like of Wrecking Ball Joe, who promised Trump and the Republicans would return Jim Crow laws, referring to it as Jim Crow 2.0.

Now if we had an education system worth something more than a good BM, that woman would know that Jim Crow was something the Democrats instituted.  But she appeared to me to be a druggie of limited intelligence who could easily be made afraid with the evil rhetoric of the stinking Democommies.

The woman in the car, screaming at the top of her lungs, and for what exactly?  It is solely the Democommies that have frightened these mentally fragile people, not Trump or the Republicans.  How many nut jobs like he showed on his clips will kill themselves because they feel their life is hopeless?  I assure you, more people will die because of the evil Democommies and their libelous rhetoric.  They should be made to answer for this libel.

Well he was wrong for wearing the hat....

https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/1851896725654393284

He was a jackass for wearing that hat. I hate when people from my side of the political spectrum are jackasses. And for those of y'all who think it's funny to troll the polling places with partisan paraphernalia, very unwise. One of my BFFs (73 years old, all-in Trump supporter) worked the early voting and November 5 polls. One Trump-supporting jackass showed up wearing a Trump T-shirt and refused to turn it inside out. He became belligerent and they finally had to call the police. That was the only incident they had, but it was so unnecessary. I get that he may not have known about the prohibition on partisan attire, but when he found out, he could have simply complied. There's absolutely no reason my 73-year-old girlfriend or the others people working the polls that day should have had to endure his ridiculous tantrum. The only statement he ended up making is that he's a complete and total @sshole. Not a good look for our side.

In-your-faceism doesn't win us any converts. Reason might (on the slim chance that a leftist can be reasonable), but certainly not the I-dare-you attitude such an act would engender. Remember, the leftist wackos are subject to the same restrictions. You're not being singled out.

I couldn't tell what was on that flag. I thought it was just a Trump flag until is read on down the thread and someone said what it was. He was a jerk for displaying it. She was a jerk for trying to remove it. We're just not the people we were a couple of generations ago. Unless we get a grip on ourselves, I don't see good things for us.

When Joe Biden was on the ticket, an old two-story home in my nearby town had very large flags that said F*** Joe Biden unfurled and tacked to the house. They were huge with full spelling commercially produced. Mrs. L and I stopped for a moment to look at the display.  A woman came out and looked at us. We moved along.  The flags were soon down but what a terrible look.

Probably so, but what's the point of testing it? If it had gone the other way, was it worth it to set off a situation in an already potentially charged venue?

I don't understand people who insist that the world revolves around them, their wants and their insistence on making a "statement" when we all must live in a civilized society. There come certain reasonable responsibilities with living among others. At the top of my list is protecting children from adults who are acting like jackasses. Grant the kids freedom from the muck and mire for the first years of their lives. They'll have to find out soon enough. Just allow their early years to be carefree.

I really hate when the right looks as smarmy as the left. I don't want to play in their sewer, so I'm embarrassed when my side chooses to.

Actually, those were the days when massive angst and anger was generated by Coca-Cola changing its recipe.  Massive.

So, it’s good if we are so spoiled we fight over toilet paper.  I’d like that back.  People are fighting over pronouns now.

And guess why we are now?  Yup, I’m going there.  Someone prominent gave them inspiration.

Recall the TEA Party.  Just a short while back.  Finally conservatives standing up publicly, but it was known to be docile and respectful and clean.  My cancer-ridden sister and our dad together went to the Glenn Beck Tea Party with her 2 twin girls and she said it was so nice, and so CLEAN when they all were leaving.

After 2016, things got much coarser and more untenable on our side. I already mentioned the flags like this, on public interstates.  People like this in the polls.  Jan 6.  Latter is overall a joke, I know, but never would such a thing ever happen before this, and you see how it’s given the Left something to harp on constantly (while they have 50 years of constant riots) and use.

If this is wildly seen, I look at in the respect having to explain that to my grandchildren if I drive by.

Let's not stoop publicly to that level.  That's what we got TBR for to vent our anger
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

So, Trump supporters will be forced to wear an orange middle-finger patch on their clothes to identify them?  I think they'd be cool with that or an orange FJB patch.

Trump supporters are not known for being shrinking violets.

@Wingnut

Then you should have the courtesy to explain it to anyone who doesn't.

Nope.  Can't help you.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Liberal wants Trump supporters to be branded in public to warn others

Where have we seen this before….

These are the people who called us fascists and a threat to Democracy

The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself.

Depends.  1850s or 1930s?

They are not mutually exclusive.

Dems,

Get off my lawn.  Stay off my lawn.  I'll grow tall fescue if I want to.
,
Stop trying to take my stuff.  Ill give up my propane grill when Al Gore and John Kerry give up their private jets.

Stop trying to take away my choices.  I don't mind having an option to buy an Electric Vehicle, but I still want the option to buy an ICE vehicle.  In New England, we have high electricity prices, hills, and Winter - things hostile to the economy and utility of EV's.

There are things that cause more net harm than farts, belches, and poop - like useless elites living in multiple large homes and flying private jets.  Poop can be used as fertilizer.  There is no use for Al Gore and John Kerry.

Agree.  It's one thing to play slap ass on a political forum, and another to put up billboards with the worst of obscenities.

Not a good look for us.
I have made a point of not displaying any political signs in my yard. My neighborhood (judging by the  signage) is split about 50/50. I just don't want to get into it with people I might be living near for the next 15-20 years.

I swear on my parents graves that when I first read your response I thought you wanted an Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle.
