Against Muslim Immigration

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America guarantees free speech to its people. Free speech is an inherent, common law right within the Commonwealth of Australia, derived from the common law of Great Britain. American governments trample this right at their peril. Not so much in Australia, where governments increasingly feel free to trash these rights, via restrictive legislation, confident that increasingly woke High Courts will give them a rubber stamp.
Yes, there are, and should be, certain limits to what a person can say. But giving offence to any group should not be one of them. You can say what you like about Nazis because everyone accepts they are nasty and the epithet is increasingly being applied to Zionists.
So, with that in mind, I will come to my point. Recently on Sky News Outsiders a question was asked of the panel ‘What is the greatest threat to Australia?’ Different people will have different views on that. You might rate your response according to immediacy, such as the imminent destruction of our economy by Energy Minister Chris Bowen and his putative leader Anthony Albanese. Or you might take a longer view and say China’s aggression is our greatest threat. Or you might think it’s the Greens, of whom I can still say with impunity, that they are an undemocratic collection of lunatics and half-wits. But I am now going to say the unsayable.
