What a Coincidence?… Kamala Announces Puerto Rico Policy on Sunday as Comedian at Trump Rally Slanders Puerto Rico “Land of Garbage” and Cracks Crude Joke about Latinos Just Hours Later

by Jim Hoft Oct. 28, 2024 7:30 am

What a strange coincidence?

Kamala Harris held an interview with Chris Cuomo on Sunday afternoon on News Nation. The far-left Democrat Party nominee outlined a Puerto Rico policy during the interview, a topic that rarely comes up in US presidential politics. Kamala promised the Caribbean island “economic development” and “improved disaster response.” …Because we all know how well the Biden-Harris regime does with their disaster response!

Via News Nation: Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled a new policy platform for Puerto Rico on Sunday, targeting the Latino vote ahead of the Nov. 5 presidential election through promises of economic development and improved disaster response.

https://twitter.com/NewsNation/status/1850668129300488356

Kamala also released a video:

https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1850731694191456460

As News Nation reported: “While residents of Puerto Rico cannot vote in U.S. presidential elections despite being American citizens, the message was aimed at more than 5.8 million people of Puerto Rican origin living on the mainland who can vote.”

Around this same time, “comedian” Tony Hinchcliffe, who goes by “Kill Tony,” took the stage at Madison Square Garden in what was supposed to be an endorsement of President Trump.

Kill Tony smeared Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage” in the middle of the ocean. This came out of the blue and stunned many rallygoers.

But Kill Tony was not done, he then attacked Latinos from the stage commenting on their sex practices. Said Kill Tony, “They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They c** inside. Just like they did to our country.”

That seemed a bit odd coming from the stage of a presidential rally nine days out from the most important election of our lives!

Oops...its up to 33.6%

So much for the outrage so far.....    :silly:

You do know most of the large bets are from foreigners?

Kalash also has an offer if you bet $100 for Trump they will send you back $175. Talk about rigging the score.

All the betting sites are rigged to make Trump look like he is in the lead and fool the cult base into not voting -that Trump has a huge lead.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/large-bets-election-prediction-market-are-overseas-source-says-2024-10-18/

NEW YORK, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Four accounts on crypto-based prediction market Polymarket that placed large bets on former President Donald Trump winning the 2024 election, and have been the subject of much online speculation, are owned by non-Americans or a non-American, according to a source familiar with the matter on Friday.
Opinion polls indicate a likely close match between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in the vote on Nov. 5. However, the odds have diverged on Polymarket, with Trump pulling strongly ahead at a 60% chance of winning versus Harris on 40%.

The trade was driven by four accounts that placed more than $30 million worth of bets, according to the source, confirming an earlier story in the Wall Street Journal.
Political pundits and social media users have questioned whether specific high-profile Americans could be behind the moves.
But Polymarket does not allow Americans to make U.S. election bets on the exchange, and the source confirmed that Polymarket's users are international. The source said the company certifies all of its large traders to ensure they are not logging in via VPNs to obscure which country they are in.

That may be, but if the Trump campaign wasn't concerned about it affecting Trump's chances of winning, they wouldn't have issued a statement:

The Trump campaign released a statement distancing itself and Trump from the remark.

"This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign," Trump campaign senior adviser Danielle Alvarez noted in a statement, according to reports.

Again, the question remains who hired him?? It's really a shame that he was aloud to speak.  IMO it tainted Trump's best rally.

Great points.  It shouldn't have happened, and Trump's statement will help in that matter.  OTOH, this is more about faux outrage than an unforced error.  In the grand scheme (like seen even short term in the betting markets), won't really move the needle.

I've seen several Kill Tony episodes, and I'll just say the Puerto Rican comment was actually mild for that outfit.  And why I cringed at the moment I saw he was on the agenda.

*****rollingeyes*****  Good grief. My voice isn't going to determine if Trump wins PA and I'm not fanning flames; the DEMS and the MSM are taking full advantage.  Again, there are over 500,000 Puerto Ricans in PA.  They could determine whether or not Trump wins PA.

Yes, the last thing he needs is a race controversy in the final week.  It’s the only part of the MSG rally that will get airtime on the networks.  The level of buffoonery from both campaigns is astounding.

What a Coincidence?…

This person on FR sums it up @mystery-ak ..  If you watch his videos he is a white supremicist. he called chinese chinks etc.

To: alstewartfan
He is a Trump supporter. There are hours of videos online of him defending Trump and bashing Kamala.

His brand of humor is often making fun of people along racial/ethnic/religious/other...lines. He intentionally goes over the line to be “edgy”. Most of the time it works when the crowd is there specifically to see him.

He thought it would go over in MSG like it normally does when the crowd is filled with his own fans. It didn’t.

It wasn’t the time or the place for that kind of humor. I hope it did’t hurt Trump too bad.

YT/Spotify ratings.  Believe me......   He is a whole lot more famous today than yesterday.

Big Joe Machi fan here....when Joe subbed for Greg a few weeks ago it was one of the best shows.
Big fan of Gutfeld here. From what I understand Machi writes most of the Gutfeld material, or he is a major contributor.
So by default, I suppose I am a big Machi fan too.

Post some lies. i have admiited I have  made some errors and owned up to them. Easy to do when attacked by 3-5 people at once and trying to respond to all. Some times I got in a hurry.

At least I do not need an old racist flag as a security blanket.

Good job...  you are the perfect liberal.  Lose an argument....  accuse them of being racist.

This is about the 3rd time you've pulled that tired stunt.  And I tell you what....   show me something in my posting history that would indicate I am racist.

Okay, I'll play your silly game.

So let me get this straight....

Tony Hinchcliffe a right leaning  Austin Comic with a history of irreverant comedy decides to clue in the  Kamala campaign that he is going to use a Puerto Rican joke.  And then with that data in hand, Kamala rushes to a Puerto Rican restaurant for a opposing campaign photo op.

Kamala's team would have booked her appearance there well in advance. There was no rushing involved.

Do you know anything about comedy?  Routines are 90% created on the fly, and improvised.  Under what alternate universe, would this ever occur.

Complete nonsense. Comedians have their routines ready days/weeks before an event, especially an event this large. On the fly, and improvised comedy is situational and is usually less than 10% of material. If you think he just made up the Latino slurs on the spot, then you are the one on the loon train.

But if you are ready to ride that loon train, go for it bubba.
But more than that, the YouTube condemnations of the rally hit seconds after he said those racist and very unfunny lines. They were prepared and ready for it. It was a setup. And this Hinchcliffe guy made himself famous in the immediate sense in the same way any lunatic becomes famous for a week or two. A month from now, everybody will have forgotten him except that he is a racist.

Hinchcliffe will become famous in the negative sense. Statements like, "Hey! Let's invite Hinchcliffe to our next company party! Let's invite Hinchcliffe to our city celebration in the park." will become a standard joke in America. What he did made HIM the joke ... and whoever hired him.

lol...

I saw Joe Machi last week, and he even went into some detail about preparing material.  He had his blue notebook out and even said the jokes  he was trying with us, would be used within a week.  He even scratched out  some of them  in front of us....   Funny as hell.

Comedy is timely and topical, and your contention that poltical humor takes months?  That's a losing strategy, because the attention span of the average person is days, not weeks, and not even remotely months.

I many times have mentioned how this campaign is all about winning the daily  news cycles.

Can anyone (besides today), think of one day in the past 3 weeks where Kamala has won one?  This one will be a blip, and Trump will move on ...especially since he has distanced himself from the joke,

He was on the list of speakers.  Who approved him being there??

Well, right now it's about voter turnout for Trump that is so great that cheating will be nearly impossible.  Trump has a chance of winning PA and last night that chance took a big hit.  Just my opinion.

Honestly, this thread is a great example of why I rarely post here any more. An edgy comic makes an un-PC joke, and a bunch of people here are ready to throw in the towel, or spin complex conspiracy theories about sabotage and colluding with the other side.

No one except the media establishment cares about this, and they are less relevant than ever before. Tomorrow, they'll have something else to blather about, and no one except them will care about that either.

The media's hyperbolic outrage over this will do nothing to effect the outcome of the election. They are increasingly irrelevant.
America should be run for the benefit of Americans, not for foreigners, not for corporations.

Where has Trump distanced himself from the joke?  Last time i looked he has  not said anything. Only his campaign

Distancing himself from the joke would mean publicly firing whoever  hired the comedian and asking the latino's and blacks forgiveness or at least giving an apology.

But wait.. Trump has said it shows weakness to apologize,

Rogan probably asked.   He and Tony both had plenty to gain at their Austin Comedy Complex.

I think this is a good bet. I really would like to know how many people have heard of this guy prior to this. Stand up comedy ain't what it used to be.

Given the fact that the "Hitler Rally in the 1930"s" was going to be used as a reference, that was going to be a gimme, I find it sad that this happened. An unforced error.

But what comes to my mind re: the Puerto Rico "joke" was a song from West Side Story where the Puerto Ricans disparaged the island in song.  The off-color joke should have never been at a rally. Save it for your comedy act.

Too bad, from what I have read, it was a good rally.

Yeah but you know the media will run with it if it supports their narrative, so why give them fuel for the fire? Whoever approve this bleep should be fired, immediately. That is if this isn't a Harris plant all along.
