Britain, the nation that birthed the Industrial Revolution, is now a world leader in deindustrialization. The power stations, oil refineries, and steelworks that helped make the UK wealthy are now closing down and moving abroad. [emphasis, links added]

High energy prices are crippling the industry and hurting households. Yet politicians are doubling down on precisely the policies that have brought us here.


Reducing carbon emissions, they say, must be the nation’s priority. Apparently, we need to embrace a Net Zero future, no matter what it costs our economy.

I once thought the Brits would be one of the Western European nations to fight back and retain its identity.

But... more and more... looks like not only will that not happen, but that Britain might be the first Western nation to forfeit its economy, along with its racial and cultural history.

Hard to believe the speed at which they're collapsing/surrendering.
(Indeed, this seems to be a problem with ALL the [formerly] Christian, English-speaking nations...)

I lived in London 40 years ago and it was a very pleasant place to work, raise a family and to enjoy the countryside.

When I retired 10 years ago the wife and I decided t take a nostalgic trip back and were shocked on its degradation.  The hotel I stayed in the heart of the city was likely 75% Arabs, and street signs were in English, Arabic and Russian.
