Tesla's "Service Vehicle" is a.... Gas Engine Ford

I'm driving home this morning, and I notice a large van with "TESLA SERVICE VEHICLE" on the driver side.
Suspicious, I turn around, stop in front of it and notice, as suspected, it is a FORD!  Photograph the FORD emblem and the driver blazes off as I photograph his passenger door. 
What a hoot!

I wonder if some of Ayn Rand's "John Galt" (and his invention of "the motor" powered by static electricity in the air) wasn't inspired by the life of Tesla...?
