FEC: Harris Campaign Raised over Triple What Trump Campaign Did in September

Olivia Rondeau 21 Oct 2024

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign raised more than three times as much as former President Donald Trump in September, according to recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings.

The Harris campaign raked in nearly $222 million, while Trump brought in almost $63 million, the filings shared on Sunday reveal:

Harris’s total is reportedly even higher because her campaign did not announce its full September haul, including additional fundraising from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and allied party committees before the FEC deadline, according to the Hill.

The outlet reported that the real September total for her campaign is almost $360 million, bringing her three-month total since announcing her run in July to $1 billion.

Including other additional fundraising, the Trump campaign said their real September total was $160 million and the vast majority — 96 percent — of the contributions were less than $200.

Those donors will not be kind to Kamala, and those who foisted onto the stage after they lose that $$

You are one of those donors.  This is what $6.8 trillion in government spending gets you.   Full coffers at the DNC.  There is no lack of funding for any Democrat running.  And Republicans are stupid to allow it year after year.

Balance the budget, and the Democrat Party goes broke.

nice idea.

But at this moment in time, what specific actions can be taken to accomplish that goal?

BTW, I was referring to those directly contributing to her campaign.

And sorry Georgia got the better of my football team

The House can pass a balanced budget and send it to the Senate.  It is really that simple.  If the Democrats want to shut the government down over it, let them.  And once Trump takes office, he can simply choose to limit spending to what the Treasury takes in each month regardless of what Congress appropriates.  All it takes is some Republicans with Javier Milei-sized balls.

I don't even like football any more.  BAMA is done.  Finished.  Kaput.  Their coach needs to realize what is expected of him.  The smile he was sporting after the South Carolina game doesn't cut it.  I think I might have seen Saban smile maybe two times his whole coaching career.

When Deboer's kids start getting beat up in school and coming home with black eyes, maybe that will wake him up.

Texas will get a rematch with Georgia in Atlanta after the A&M game.

The largess of Fedzilla hasn't been challenged with any fortitude in the past almost 100 years.  (See Coolidge)

The Deep State doesn't view this money spent as a political investment, they see it as a desperate attempt of survival.

Shut it down in an ongoing interim game of whack-a-mole?  Hell No!!!.  Gut the son of a bitch.

I am all in.

So how do we get the House to do this?

Find enough Republican members who haven't yet been cut in on the graft and it's a done deal.

Good luck with that!

The whole lot of 'em are fiscal idiots, who have no desire to run a government within its means.

I disagree that they are fiscal idiots but fully agree with the rest. It serves their purpose to have widespread fiscal irresponsibility.
