EPA Employees Seeking Refuge In Other Agencies As Possible Trump Return Looms

Employees at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are shifting to other government agencies in anticipation of former President Donald Trump potentially being reelected, according to E&E News.

EPA employees are moving to seek work at “safer” governmental agencies, including the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce, E&E News reported. Many federal employees are “very concerned” about potentially losing their jobs and being “specifically targeted” by the Trump administration if he returns to the Oval Office.
 
“People are worried, but anybody who has half a brain is existentially afraid for the safety of democracy,” an employee at the National Science Foundation told E&E News.

Trump has previously said that he would “demolish the deep state” if he is reelected and would make it easier to lay off federal employees, according to Politico.

I find such irony in the fact that these EPA dickweeds feel prosecuted.  This an agency that has had decades of reveling in scaring, tormenting, and torturing of so many they pretend to regulate.

You forget that when someone is passionately taking their stand Against something of someone, they often pay little attention to the alternative they end up giving tacit approval to.

Nov 3, 2020 was the insurrection ----- Jan 6, 2021 was the last constitutionally guaranteed right to fix it.  This was the fight our Founders wanted the people marching to the Capitol to win.  It's a pity "Constitutionalists" still aren't able to grasp this.

I share "some" of your sentiment, and am not a fan of DJT at all.  BUT.....   every GOP vote that Trump doesn't get next month, increases the probability of Harris being elected.  Is that your preference?

I'm not voting for Harris.  I'm voting against Trump.  I'm voting exclusively Republican down ballot.

I don't want Dem hegemony at the Federal level.  We saw what happened with the ACA 2010, plus, as a life-long resident of the PDR of Taxachusetts, I know the liberals' penchant for coddling criminals, expanding Government, wasting money on nonsense, and increasing taxes and regulation ... for the children.

All I want is to preserve the Federal Constitutional Republic of the United States of America so we can argue and settle our differences on the floors of Congress, if Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi can stop obstructing the People's business in the People's house.

Just because giggles has not shown her true colors on the National Stage doesn't mean that below a veneer of word salads and seeming incompetence lurks some very bad direections she wants to take the United States. Her playing fast and loose with Brady Material, release at the end of sentence, selective prosecution, etc. show an absolute disregard for any of the fundamental constraints of Law, and the invasion this country has suffered in the past three and a half years is an indicator that she is willing and able to violate even the most basic rules we have to preserve nationhood.

If a few yelling people in DC on one day, goaded on by agents provocateur, into a weak crowd of LEOs who had to fire munitions into the crowd point blank to rile them enough to be described as "violent" bothers you, just imagine the civil war that may well follow the Communist takeover under Kamala.
