U.S. Navy’s F-35 Dilemma: Range Limitations in the Pacific Theater
Story by Jessica Taylor • 1h

With the vast, seemingly endless Pacific theater, the F-35 Lightning II is still high on the Navy's list of support for the F-35C variant, whose combat range is increasingly threatened.

It seems every time I look in the news, the aircraft so good there was no reason for enemies to challenge it, has another problem. :thud:

The main issue with range is weight, which is a problem this aircraft has had from the beginning.

The more bells, whistles and widgets crammed into an airframe, the more it weighs, the shorter it goes.
Throwing our allegiances to political parties in the long run gave away our liberty.

The F-35 is just a fat, ugly, unreliable lemon.  The Navy doesn't have enough lipstick to put on that pig.
