Just watching  the faux so called journalistic institution known 60 Minutes flame out and burn in scandal  is one of the more "satisfying" side topics of the 2024 election season.

I'm loving it, and in some ways this is more heinous than the Dan Rather episode with Bush NG document.

I'm loving it as well.  Dan Rather ruined his career with that one and rightfully so.

At one time, I watched 60 Minutes every week. I can't remember when I stopped or what caused me to do so. But it was evidently a good move on my part, lol.

If they choose not to release the unredacted (but how would we know) video...they carry guilt.

Haven't watched "60 Minutes" in years.
Decades, actually...

Just keep in mind that all the 'magic' they do to make her look good, they do to others to make them look bad. Short phrases, cherry picked, lead into voice-overs telling us what a person thinks and essentially frame whatever narrative they want.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
