Everyone can drown.
Everyone can be buried in a mudslide.
Everyone can be crushed by falling, flying, or waterborne debris.
Everyone can die of thirst, or disease brought on by drinking contaminated water.
Everyone who relies on life maintaining medication can die without it.
The one uniting feature of all humans is that we can die in a crisis without help.
Death, the great leveler, is an equal opportunity agent, it doesn't care what you identify as, what color your skin is, what culture you come from, how you relate to the family pet. It will eventually get us all.
But when the opportunity comes to rescue a fellow human being and help them meet their needs for survival, (not everyone needs insulin, for instance) rescue people as you come to them, meet their unique needs and what we ALL need to survive.
Where is the equity' in that? ALL you save will be alive. That's a good place to start.
Otherwise, the only other way to get 'equity' is to let them all die, that way the people of the targeted groups get the same thing as the straight white Christians you let die.
