CBS moderators are given a brutal assessment of their 'biased' and 'obnoxious' performance in the Vance-Walz debate

Pundits and commentators online were not all pleased with the CBS News moderators' performance during Tuesday night's vice presidential debate.

The most jarring moment came when Margaret Brennan fact-checked Republican VP nominee, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance over comments he made about Haitian migrants.

That led to a back-and-forth that ended with Brennan and Norah O'Donnell cutting off the candidates' mics.

'F you CBS - how dare you,' conservative host Megyn Kelly tweeted. 'Tried to fact check. JD put you in your place. You won't [let] him fight you and you wont let them debate.'

A user on X chimed in: 'JD Vance called out the moderators for lying to the audience, and CBS immediately muted him. Legacy media is clearly controlled by the Democrats.'

Yeah, but they won't be talking about that on ABCNNBCBS, any more than the number of convicted murderers and rapists fast-tracked in and distributed about America by the current administration.

Here is a missed opportunity all you Media Moguls.

You want your news show to get ratings, just tell the truth, warts and all, to the American people instead of being media mouthpieces for the looming totalitarian regime.

Here is a chance to go down in history as a saviour of the Republic and the American Dream.

I think there is a good chance debates are done. Who benefits other than the Rats and media. Pubs are nuts to keep trying to get treated fairly.

The Republicans should have abandoned the networks this election.  Just as Disney lacks the talent to produce anything like their classic entertainment, the network news agencies are no longer capable of moderating a fair debate.  CNN came closest, after a preemptive attack from Trump … but they were torn apart by their competitors, making it unlikely that anyone else will try.  ABC CBS NBC think they are supposed to help the democrats.

That's a fair assessment, and there's a high probability we may not see "debates" in future elections.

I can remember Bentzen blasting Dan Quayle with the "no JFK" remark years ago.
But around then, I stopped watching.

I have NO interest in watching televised "debates" of any kind again.
