Vance is winning the debate. 

He is clearly the best debater of the 4 candidates running for president or vice president.

His abortion answer/pivot was masterful.

Walz has been fine -- but uneven. His answer on the lie that he was in China during Tiananmen Square was AWFUL.

Note for future generations: honest debates should not be moderated by shameless advocates for one of the debaters. Even if the disfavored one is so well-prepared and polished that the moderators cannot effectively set him up and attack him.

The most important requirement of a Vice President is to be able to take over if something happens to the President.

Tim Walz is showing tonight that he is not qualified to be Vice President. Vance is showing that he absolutely is.

Haven’t heard much till these last 15 or so.

Sounds like varying shades of socialism.

Why doesn’t anyone stick up for “America” and say things are not so bad, it’s not a crisis, etc.  always “crisis” having parents get paid for doing no work.  Always saying everyone should get paid more for less, money for nothing.  Never mentioning how regulations including minimum wage and union strong-arming mean too much money spent for nothing.  Acting as if medical care was in the Dark Ages before Obamacare.  We have the greatest in the world!  Why the hell can’t anyone defend any of this?

At the first commercial break, my #VPDebate focus group says by a 10-4 margin that JD Vance is winning.

That is a big deal since only 5 of them were leaning toward Trump-Vance when the debate began.

Luntz is one of the few liberals willing to tell the rest what they don't want to hear. Well, so is RFK Jr., and he left the Democrats.
