Throwing spaghetti against the wall ...
« on: September 30, 2024, 10:27:45 am »
Maybe Congress could pass a law that says all costs and reimbursements for illegal immigrants would be drawn from the (alleged) Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds.

Force the Dems to make a Sophie's choice - illegal immigrants or Social Security and Medicare.

Until the costs and reimbursements for illegal immigration start eating into funding for Dems favorite causes - Public Broadcasting, Endowment for the Arts, Planned Parenthood, Department of Education, etc., the Dems won't stop Open Borders.

Forcing the costs of Open Borders to eat the Dems' lunch may change their minds.

The money has to come from somewhere, why not from the pockets of the programs Dems love the most?

If you want the programs Dems love the most, how about welfare
Medicaid, not Medicare.
Housing subsidies (Veteran's exception from the moratorium--'cause Dems don't like real combat veterans and that would piss them off)

Food Stamps...

How come you suggest cutting programs people pay for and not the ones the recipients haven't chipped in a dime?

Not just quit importing illegals and jet setting them all over, but
cut the bennies for illegals, too. That's costing us a fortune, in more ways than one.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
