The Startling Metadata Hidden within the Polling: Voters Love Trump
By Andrea Widburg

This past week, American Thinker partnered with Rasmussen polling to look at the battleground states, plus a few blue states in which there seems to be a softening toward Trump as Kamala’s campaign blunders along. What emerged from the ten states (AZ, GA, MI, MN, NC, NM, NV, PA, VA, and WI) was fascinating. In the swing states, Trump and Kamala are close, although Trump seems to be pulling ahead. In the blue states, Trump is closer than one would expect. Most amazingly, voters in all states, often by significant majorities, love Trump; they just don’t know it.

On the kitchen table, bread-and-butter, money-in-the-bank, our-children’s-future issues, people accept the Republican view that Democrats have done a terrible job and that Trump can do a better job. Democrats prevail only on “emotion” issues generated by media hatred and “vibes.”

To win, Trump cannot suddenly retrain voters to like him. Instead, he must tell them, “I’m not going to be your best friend. But I’m going to be your best president. You know that things are deeply wrong in America, you know that I’ve correctly diagnosed what’s wrong, and you trust me to fix it. Vote for me to save yourselves.”

I’ve appended below a chart showing my analysis of the ten-state poll data. Here’s a link to a bigger version of the chart.

The only problem with that is that Trump desperately wants to be liked.

Funny thing about that. If he gets in, he can do the sort of things that will turn around at least some of the naysayers, and be better liked on the way out.

If he doesn't get in, the hate will just continue, and often, will anyway if he does.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

this is also a problems for Kamala, people just don't like her personally. It's as bad as 2016, both candidates have high negatives and can be very irritating at times.

I've said here alot that this election is the greatest test of our character since possibly in our whole history.

I get that conservatives have policy issues with him. There's alot of things that disappointed me about his last term. But for those who aren't so tuned in, you're going to vote for someone because you 'like' them, like some cliquey popular girl sorority?

Shamala's record is dismal and ongoing, and she's know to be mean and spiteful and hypocritical, Trump's and his platform are far better. Some of the most unlikeable people are also the most competent, because they have to be hard nosed to get the difficult job done. Vibes and joy won't get it done, and no one should trust that crap anyway.

The blind emotionalism of this country has made me almost not care about people anymore. When you work your entire life for everything, those kind of people are practically a threat to your existence, and it's hard to give a darn when they vote themselves down the toilet, which is the choice they are coming up on soon..

No, a significant amount of his voters are "hold their noses" like me.

I think basically we are choosing who we want to ride it down. I definitely don't want Commie Shamala, Trump will be a wild card but I see a far less chance of ending up in a gulag.
