President Joe Biden To Make History With First-Ever Live Appearance On ‘The View’ By A Sitting President

The View is set to make history on Wednesday. The ladies will welcome the first-ever sitting president to the show for a live interview when Joe Biden appears later this week. Whoopi Goldberg first announced the news during today’s broadcast.

“We have some wonderful news,” she began. “You want me to tell you? I have a historic announcement: This Wednesday, we are honored to have the sitting President of the United States Joe Biden, [who] will be live on The View with us.”

Her announcement was met with whoops and cheers in the audience, and Goldberg was sure to add, “Let us not forget, he is still President of the United States of America.”

President Barack Obama previously appeared on The View during his time in office, but his segment was pre-recorded, while Biden’s will be taped live, per a press release shared with DECIDER.

Biden is in cognitive decline with advancing dementia. Going on 'live' TV is kind of wild. This guy might start raving about Pinochle! and the goddam Jews and Negros!(grew up in the early 1940s) Who knows what he is going to say? I will not be tuning in, as I never do, but ... this sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
