Vice President Kamala Harris, now promising to secure the border, once stood in stark opposition to deporting illegal immigrants. In a 2018 Los Angeles parade, Harris was captured on video passionately leading a protest chant, “Down, down with deportation!”—a stance that directly contrasts her current rhetoric on border security.

The footage, exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail, shows Harris, then a California senator, enthusiastically joining a group of activists during the 33rd annual parade, typically held to honor the legacy of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. However, leftist political forces, including the “Times Up!” movement, transformed the event into a platform for their political causes, one of which was advocating for illegal immigration without consequence.
Kamala’s Role in the Protest

During the parade, Harris, named the event’s grand marshal, joined protesters in a chant celebrating education while denouncing deportation. “Up, up with education! Down, down with deportation!” she chanted, clapping and smiling alongside her husband, Doug Emhoff, and stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, who filmed the moment on her iPhone.

Vice President Kamala Harris in now promising to secure the border, but when she was a senator of California, she was a staunch opponent of deporting illegal immigrants.

Harris joined a group of protesters during a 2018 Los Angeles parade chanting, 'Down down with deportation!' in a video exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail.

Harris was named the grand marshal of the 33rd annual parade, typically reserved to celebrate the legacy of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

But leftist political forces used the occasion to celebrate their own political causes, including the 'Times up!' movement, featuring women who protested sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. 

The topic of immigration enforcement also came up during the parade, prompting Harris to join chants celebrating illegal immigration without consequences.

Kamala Harris continues to be the gift that keeps on giving to Team Trump every time her mouth moves.

Today, the Daily Mail obtained footage showing then-Senator Harris attending a 2018 Los Angeles parade, bellowing, “Down down with deportation!” This, of course, contradicts her newly-found ‘tough’ position on open borders.

The outlet notes that Harris was named the grand marshal of the annual parade, which generally honors the contributions of world-famous civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr.

However, according to the Mail, the forces decided to set aside King’s legacy this year and focus on open borders and the Me Too movement instead. When immigration came up during the rally, Harris joined the protesters in demanding a halt to all deportations of illegal aliens.

No Dem or Republican politician can be trusted to keep their word, view, beliefs, policies, etc.

In primaries they run to the right or to the left.  In general elections, they pivot to the center.

That's why our best hope to keep either side's extreme from running amuck is to have divided Government.
