Video footage has revealed U.S. troops being shot at while deployed abroad, as reported by Benzinga.com. The video led Rep. Jim Banks to call out a debate claim by Kamala Harris, in which the Vice President said there are currently no American soldiers in active combat zones.

Iraq and Syria are combat zones where U.S. troops currently earn combat pay. There are approximately 2,500 U.S. troops in these zones.
