US and Iraqi forces eliminate several ISIS leaders

US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces and Iraqi Security Forces conducted a joint raid in western Iraq on August 29, resulting in the death of four ISIS leaders, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
The operation targeted terrorist leaders and aimed to undermine and weaken ISIS’s ability to plan, organize, and execute attacks against Iraqi civilians, as well as US citizens, allies, and partners in the region and beyond.
Following the assessment of the raid’s outcomes, CENTCOM confirmed the elimination of the following ISIS leaders:
・Ahmad Hamid Husayn Abd-al-Jalil al-Ithawi, responsible for all operations in Iraq;
・Abu Hammam, responsible for overseeing all operations in Western Iraq;
・Abu Ali al-Tunisi, responsible for overseeing technical development;
・Shakir Abud Ahmad al-Issawi, responsible for overseeing military operations in Western Iraq.
