Former President Donald Trump said in a social media post on Thursday that he will not debate Vice President Kamala Harris a second time before Election Day.

"THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!" Trump wrote on Truth Social in reference to his first debate against President Biden in late June and a second debate against Harris this week.

In the post, Trump maintained that "polls clearly show" that he won the debate, though he did not provide any evidence to back up his claim.

Three polls taken immediately after the date found that Harris outperformed Trump. CNN/SSRS showed Harris beating Trump by a margin of 63%-37%, SoCal Strategies/On Point Politics/Red Eagle Politics had Harris over Trump by 53%-34% and YouGov found that Harris bested Trump by a margin of 54%-31%.

Two other post-debate polls released Thursday showed Harris building her national lead over Trump. A national Morning Consult poll found Harris leading Trump by five points, a three-point bump following Tuesday's debate. A Reuters/Ipsos poll also found Harris with a five-point lead.

Moments after Trump announced his decision to forego another debate with Harris, the vice president took the stage at a campaign rally in Charlotte, N.C., and proclaimed "we owe it to the voters to have another debate!"

Why go back and be lied about not only by the other UN "fact-checked" participant, but to have to argue with the moderators, too?
Anyone could see Kamala's incontinent prevarication and snarky facial expressions were highlighted and not emphasized, when it seemed the only time the camera zoomed on Trump was when he was (with reason) aggravated.

Why go swimming in that partisan cesspool again?

Frankly, his answers had substance, hers were vapid or simply incorrect.

Why do that again?  If Americans were stupid enough to fall for her shtick, we're going to have a miserable four years ahead.

Following the first debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, Trump has announced that there will be no more debates.

The highly anticipated 2024 election debate on Tuesday, which took place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, was hosted by ABC News and moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis. The event was filled with sharp exchanges between the two candidates, both of whom are vying for the nation’s top office in the upcoming election. While Harris focused on defending the current administration’s policies, Trump seized the opportunity to hammer home that the Biden-Harris administration has failed the country on issues like border security and the economy.

On Thursday, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to declare his victory in the debate and to address future plans. In a post that quickly went viral, Trump wrote, “When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH.’ Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate.”

Kamel-uh loses ground in a month is down about 5-8.  She begs for a debate.  Trump agrees to have it on FOX, but the moderators have to be  Mark Levin or. Ben Shapiro and Greg Gutfeld or Judge Jeanine.

I consider myself a decent debater, except when it is 3 on 1.  I hope he does another, but on his terms.

I do not think he needs to do another debate with voting already started or about to start in a couple days.

But if he does do a debate, he should insist on it being done with Newsmax, or One America News Network.  The fact is, Fox News started going negative on Trump at one point.  I haven't forgotten.  Other than Hannity, he owes Fox nothing.

Newsmax has been very loyal to Trump, has come a long way as a quality source  for news.  My favorite source for news is OAN.  They cover twice as many news stories as any other network.

The Harris camp asked for a second debate the moment they checked their tracking internals ---- about 90 seconds after the end of the first debate. Think about that for a moment:  What champion, after delivering a knock out victory, would stand up and demand a rematch? 

Harris survived the moment, but desperately needs another debate setup to have any chance of passing Trump on the issues that Americans will actually be voting on.

Other surveys found voters trust Trump more than Harris on the economy and immigration--issues that have consistently ranked at the top of the list of voter concerns.

Despite her win, debate-watchers still preferred Trump by 20 points on the economy (55-35) and 23 points on immigration (56-33). Those are actually bigger margins than he usually racks up on these issues, so it seems possible Trump’s attacks on the Biden administration’s record on these issues landed with some effect.

She wants a second debate! There wasn't a 1st one. This was nothing but a well rehearsed 3 against 1 assult,  bordering on election interference. A Debate is when they fairly give both the question and they answer what their policies would be, giving  viewers a fair assessment.
