I couldn't get the video to play, but;
Years ago when I realized what was happening and became active in trying to make people aware of ILLEGAL immigration and the negative economic and social impact it was having on this country, I struggled with this very concept; was it a sin not to help ILLEGALS?
There is indeed a humanitarian element to this situation. Drug and human trafficking are part of the scenario and allowing those elements to continue is a sin. Young girls are tied to rape trees in order to gain entry or as payment for entry into this country .... so allowing that to continue by enticing ILLEGALS to enter this country with a promise of entitlements is a sin. Secondly, they are breaking the law in order to enter. Thirdly, our citizenry are becoming victims due to their illegal entry -- so we are to assist those in committing crimes against us???
Building a border and securing our border would prevent such sin. The U.S. gives a percentage of their GDP to help countries; countries of citizens that are entering ILLEGALLY, so they are indeed being assisted with aid.
Sure we can offer food, housing, medical, etc., but at what cost??? Give them the shirts off of our backs only to be stabbed in the back?
Granted some are indeed here to make a better life and assimilate, but for the most part that is no longer happening.
Nonethless .... it's a struggle biblically:
Romans 12:20-21
20 No, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
