Who wants the 2000 km2 of solar panels from Diederik Samsom (PvdA)?

With the elections approaching, speeches are taking on extra political weight. For example, Diederik Samsom, Frans Timmermans' right-hand man, will be speaking at the Eindhoven University of Technology on 6 September. This university is also completely in the grip of climate alarmism and emphasises the crucial importance of sustainability wherever possible.

As if it were a religious service, a special 'chair of the future' is taken along and given a place in the meeting room at the TUE: The eternally empty Chair of the Future will constantly wake us up to how important sustainability is and how vigilant we must be to save the planet.

What can we expect from Samsom, with the elections approaching? The politician and EU top official already gives something away on the invitation. He does not want to leave anyone behind in the energy transition, under the motto: ' Leave no one behind .' According to him, the fair distribution of energy costs will have to come, otherwise the energy transition is doomed as far as he is concerned. And that will be very difficult, not only here in the Netherlands, but also in Europe, where the income differences between countries are much greater.
